Lodge has many collections in their vast array of cast iron cookware, and their newest line is the Dolly Parton Cast Iron Collection.
Lodge and Dolly are two Tennessee legends, both into cooking.
Of course, Dolly is first and foremost a country music star, so the skillets had to be linked to her music in some way.
Cooking and country music are the way to go.

A Little About Lodge
Lodge Cast Iron is a family-owned business in South Pittsburg, Tennessee. Joseph Lodge founded this company in 1896, originally called Blacklock Foundry.
However, after the building burned down in 1910, Joseph rebuilt and renamed the company Lodge Cast Iron.
Over the years, Lodge survived several economic downturns and thrived even when other foundries closed down.
As business continued to grow, they built another foundry. The new foundry enabled Lodge to increase its manufacturing production by 75 percent.
Lodge makes cast iron and carbon steel cookware, though cast iron remains their primary production. They offer a variety of cast iron cookware, including classic, enamel, chef, and Blacklock.
Additionally, Lodge carries bakeware and several series, all cast iron. They also have many accessories and a cast iron grilling cookware line.
Lodge continues to be a leading manufacturer worldwide, making nearly 2 million cast iron pans monthly.
A Little About Dolly
Dolly Parton was born in Locust Ridge, TN, on January 19, 1946. She had natural ability and passion for music from a young age.
After graduating from high school, she immediately set out for Nashville to pursue a music career. Soon, she was singing with country music star Porter Wagoner.
In 1974, she launched her solo career and, in 1975, was named Female Singer of the Year by the Country Music Association (CMA). That same year, Dolly won a Grammy for the song, Here You Come Again.
That was just the beginning of what has been a long and successful career as a singer, songwriter, actor, and producer. Dolly Parton has won numerous awards over the years.
Additionally, Dolly has appeared in several movies, including such favorites as 9-5 (1980), The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (1982), and Steel Magnolias (1989).
Recently, this country music icon partnered with Lodge Cast Iron to produce a Dolly Parton Cast Iron Collection.
Dolly Teams Up With Lodge
On March 14, 2024, both Lodge and Dolly posted on Facebook, announcing the release of the Dolly Parton collection of cast iron skillets:

The 10.25-Inch Skillet: “I Will Always Love You”
This skillet features Dolly looking at a butterfly in flight and “celebrates all the ways Dolly has transformed the way we see the world and how she inspires everyone to live with a bigger heart.”
Lodge named this skillet after a song she wrote and recorded in 1973. Today, it is considered one of the best love songs of all time.

The 12-Inch Skillet: “Love is Like a Butterfly”
Dolly’s music just seems to inspire “people to live with more love and tenderness” because of songs like Love Is Like a Butterfly.
As a child, she chased butterflies because she was drawn to their beauty. In her book, Dolly Parton, Songteller: My Life in Lyrics, she writes, “I used to get lost in the woods, chasing them, because they were so gentle. They were beautiful and colorful, and they were doing something, being productive and being harmless.”

This skillet is inspired by the Smoky Mountains, the region where Dolly grew up. Lodge and Dolly wanted this skillet to celebrate the beauty of the region.
Dolly calls the song Light of a Clear Blue Morning a song of deliverance and is “about the feeling that comes from asserting your independence.”

This collector’s piece honors Dolly’s rockstar status. It’s perfect for a single serving of cornbread or hanging on the wall.
Dolly’s 2023 album “Rockstar” was inspired by her 2022 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Her song Rockstar encourages everyone to never give up on their dreams “no matter how far-fetched they seem” or if they’re “not all that extreme.”
So, besides being adorable, this mini skillet can remind us of Dolly and her encouragement to keep pursuing our dreams.

Final Thoughts
I hope you have enjoyed reading about Dolly Parton’s new line of cast iron skillets made by Lodge.
There are four skillets in the collection, and each one is named after a song she wrote.
One of the reasons Lodge was excited to partner with Dolly Parton is that both are Tennessee legends.
Lodge says, “Just like Dolly, Lodge is grown here, known here, and loved all over the world.”
